Introduction...

Hi,
This is the start of our adventures into home education, having just withdrawn our 4 year old daughter from school. We are starting this blog on day 2 of our adventures...

Along for the journey are my husband, who took a good deal of persuading into the idea of home education, but is now so totally into it he talks of little else!! Also, our youngest daughter, aged 2yrs, and bump, due in 12 weeks or so.

We have chosen home education for a growing number of reasons, and I'll no doubt muse over these in the blog!

Any comments, tips etc. gratefully received, as we consider ourselves newbies, having not really pinned down an educational philosophy yet, nor decided how best to order our days - if at all! We're just going to enjoy the experience, and see where it takes us.
